3 Ways to Get Backlinks Easily

Three ways to get backlinks pointing to your blogs.

1)Submit your blog post to social directories - This will quickly get backlinks to your blog. when done properly, a submission to Stumble Upon and Digg will create many backlinks and huge amounts of traffic.

2)Article marketing - Article marketing is still a great way to create traffic and back links to your website and for the most part is free. Just make sure your author bio box is well written and includes links to your blog. This is what gets the links to your blog as most article submission sites don't allow direct links. If they do then link away in the article also.

3)Post comments - A very effective and easy way to create backlinks is to comment on blogs that are related to yours. If people like your comment, they will most likely go to your blog to read more of your material. One great way to create back links is Posting comments in other people's blogs. Every time you post you are able to include your name and your website address in some comments. Try to include your primary keyword in the name if you can.

Free PHP code for (Back) link checker

This function is usefull for peoples with a link directory where the links are stored inside a (MySQL) database. The PHP script is easy to use to find out if a reciprocal link still exists on the corresponding webpage. It takes care about the trailing slash in urls and can be used with (almost) every url. Inside the function is a check against a regular expression pattern and the result is a simple boolean.

function check_back_link($remote_url, $your_link) {
$match_pattern = preg_quote(rtrim($your_link, "/"), "/");
$found = false;
if ($handle = @fopen($remote_url, "r")) {
while (!feof($handle)) {
$part = fread($handle, 1024);
if (preg_match("/\"']"
.$match_pattern.
"(\/?)[\"'](.*)>(.*)<\/a>/", $part)) {
$found = true;
break;
}
}
fclose($handle);
}
return $found;
}
// example:
//if (check_back_link("http://www.all4yourwebsite.com", "http://www.finalwebsites.com")) echo "link exists";
?>

Rapid Backlink Gathering Tips & Tricks

Bookmarking
There’s no reason to ever be bookmarking individually. Sign up for a bunch of services, and use the same nickname/password for each. There’s 2 services for this that will allow you to do this fast. Head on over to http://www.OnlyWire.com, and http://www.SocialPoster.com. Of course, it’s a bit of a pain in the ass to sign up for each service, but it’s worthwhile, and afterwards, all of them can be bookmarked with a single click. Altough many of these are no-followed, the given anchor text can still give you a boost.

Digg Sniping
Monitor digg, and any other social news site you can. Whenever something hits the front page, comment on the article itself, not on digg. Especially if it’s a do-follow link. Most articles people comment on have very few links that go directly to that page, and hence are worth more(even if the homepage is high PR, only a fraction of the link juice gets sent to the article you comment on). If something frontpages Digg, you can be sure that it has at LEAST one high powered link going directly to it, and probably many more from all the digg rss feeds/blog posts/message boards that the article will be posted to in the next 24 hours. As a result, a link on this page passes a LOT of link juice. Netscape’s propeller, Newsvine, and Shoutwire are other worthwhile sniping targets.

Social News Sites - RSS, and Other Uses
Submit to digg, reddit, proppeler, newsvine, sphinn any you can find. Extra points for do-follow links. And don’t just submit. Promote. Get friends to vote. Use web proxies for extra accounts. If you get 2-3 votes quickly, most places will keep you on the “upcoming” list for significantly longer. Ranking on any of these sites will get you a lot of links, from both direct references, and people who syndicate the RSS feeds(the real point of this section). Add anyone who votes for your article to your “friends” list. Always remember that your page doesn’t have to get votes for the backlink to count as well. It has to appear, and not get deleted.

Create a Free Template - Sneaky Backlinks, and Normal Backlinks
Most free web template, or free wordpress template sites(or actually, pay ones for that matter), are more than happy to accept free templates. Either make them yourself, or commission someone to make a bunch of them. 10-20 if you can swing it. Add your anchor text to the bottom of the page, small as possible without setting off red flags. Make sure to say it was “coded by XYZ”, where XYZ is the anchor text and a link. Beyond that, you can also have a layer that shows up on mouseover of a certain link or image. 99% of people will delete the link, but not the layer. So chances are, you’ll still get it crawled if you set it up properly(it’s hard, but possible). This can also work for plug-ins, but it’s more difficult

Intelligent Trackbacks and Commenting - Basic
Learn to love it. http://commenthunt.com/. It lists a bunch of different blogs that have a do-follow link policy, and is very rarely wrong. Keep in mind, the blog admins are aware of this condition, and are much more anal about which comments they accept. Also bear in mind that this means they’re probably friendly admins, and are more likely to accept trackbacks. So give it a good search through before posting any blog article, and see if it sticks. Don’t be too aggressive though, or Akismet anti-spam will nail you to the wall, and then you’re completely dead in the water. Also, notice how old the entry is. Some people get annoyed with comments on excessively old, out of date articles. Remember to always reference a specific thing from the article. Not just a generic compliment. If you do something too generic, not only with you probably get stuck as spam by the moderator(Akismet again!), but the comments will barely ever stick. Also, avoid referencing, or god forbid directly quoting, the title or a line of the article. This is common by link spam programs, and will get you nailed as well.

Finding Do-Follow Blogs the Easy Way

Introduction
The easiest way to currently identify a blog that has do-follow links in their comments is the presence of an image that says “U Comment, I Follow”, like the one pictured below.
U Comment I follow

Now, the catch with these has historically been that there’s been no central repository of participants. Since it is an image, you cannot simply search Google for it either, as Google cannot read the text.

The Method
We discovered that a lot of the blogs that use a relatively static “alt” text. Now, while most search engines themselves do not search alt text in their standard results, image searches are entirely different matter.
By searching Google Image Search (or other image searches) for “U Comment I Follow” (with quotes is more accurate, but without quotes gives more results), we can pull a substantial list of do-follow blogs. By appending your given keyword(like “seo”), you can get more targeted blogs.
In addition, searching for “U Comment” or “I Follow” separately bring up a lot more results.

It’s More Accurate Than You Think
For whatever reason, most of the images Google returns for the above searches are not the images of the “U Comment, I Follow” project. However if you visit most of the sites listed, they actually DO have the image showing they’re a part of the project, Google just doesn’t return that as the search result. Odd, I know

Other Variations on the Method
Alt tags are not the only footprint available for this. It also uses relatively predictable image names.
You can search for these either using the inurl: command, or searching for the filename itself.

  • ifollowblue.gif, ifollowgreen.gif, ifollowpink.gif, ifollowpurple.gif, ifollowltgreen.gif, ifolloworange.gif, ifollowwhite.gif,
  • ifollowmagenta.gif
  • ifollow.(gif/png/jpg, take your pick)
  • utrackback_ifollow.gif
  • ifollow-red.png
  • inurl:ucomment
  • inurl:ifollow

Increase Backlinks with DoFollow Sites

DoFollow is simply a term given to web pages or sites that are not utilizing NoFollow. NoFollow is a hyperlink attribute (much like the "ALT" or "TITLE" tags) that tells search engines not to pass on any credibility or influence to an outbound link.
